For record-keeping, mileage reporting and saving money on taxes, you now have a quick and easy smartphone app -My Receipt Manager. 

My Receipt Manager stores digital and watermarked copies of your receipts, invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and other accounting related documents.  With this handy app, you are able to categorize your stored images and extrapolate time driven reports, sorted by category or organized for purposes of regular submission to an accountant, bookkeeper, tax preparer, or company supervisors.  There is even a pre-set feature that enables reimbursement reporting submittals for individuals operating with monthly budgets or expense allowances.

How to load a receipt: 

After downloading My Receipt Manager from the Android Market or from www.myreceiptmanager.com, this is the screen you will see when you first open the app after the registration process.

When you select Record Receipt, your device's camera will load for you to take a picture of the receipt. Once you take a picture, you will be taken to this screen, where you can enter all the information about your purchase, including the category it falls into, what you want to title the purchase, a description of the purchase, if you bought an extended warranty for what was purchased, the amount, and if it's something to be reimbursed. 

How to export your expense report:

When you're ready to create your report, select "Review Receipt" from the menu page. You will be able to select what category of receipts you want to generate a report for, then asked what date range you want to generate a report from.

Once you have selected the dates you want, you will get your report. 

Once you select send, you can choose Email, and send it to anyone you need to. 

How to record your mileage for reimbursement: 

Another helpful feature of My Receipt Manager is the built-in functionality of another great Iconosys app, which tracks your mileage for you! Select the "Mileage" option from the main screen, and you can select "Start Calculating Mileage" at the beginning of your trip, and "Stop Calculating Mileage" at the end. 

My Receipt Manager will create a report for you with your mileage if you select the "Calculate Mileage" option, then the "Reports" button. You will receive a report similar to the expense report:
